Over-prepared for Contracts today (I thought). But…everything was totally over my head. I spent the majority of class praying that the prof wouldn’t call my name. She didn’t. There were many other poor students that had to struggle through that. I wasn’t sure if I had read the correct pages, or if she was going from some other book. We had read the right cases, but it seemed she had a totally different structure. hahahaha. My first scary experience as a 1L. Woo

I made it through my first day of law school! I think I over-prepared for class because I was so paranoid…and the teachers didn’t even end up asking random students questions. So I will continue to over-prepare because I know they’re just waiting to slam a question on an unexpecting student (which I feel will be me very soon).

We get to celebrate Charles’s bday tonight! He is turning 16 on Monday. How crazy is it that all the “little boys” are not so little anymore?! They’re all grown-up…WE’RE ALL “all grown-up” I guess. When did that happen?

Also excited to have Aunt Susan here in Boise for a little while! I hope she brings the warm Mesa weather with her because it SNOWED here last night. Ughh. I hate it when we don’t get ANY snow during the actual snow-worthy months, and then it snows during March when it’s supposed to be sunny. So bring that good weather and sunshine Aunt Susan!!

Hope this works. This is a video of Reed and Kevin in their middle school talent show this afternoon. My mom, Angeles, Abby, Malea, and I all went to watch with several of the other siblings and moms of the other boys in the number. They were the big finale of the show and the crowd LOVED it.

I have been accepted to the University of Idaho School of Law. Won’t be hearing from other schools for a couple months…but Idaho got back to me very quickly. I am so happy to know that I have atleast one school that wants me! haha. Now I don’t have to worry about getting in somewhere.

I am starting a new job today as a Developmental Therapist. I will be working as an aide in a charter school to help a boy with disabilities. I have some meetings today to learn more about it, but I am excited to be working with kids again. I love it.
